A small town with outsized character. We treat Arnaudville projects the way the town treats itself, with respect for what is already there.
Arnaudville may be small, but it has an outsized character. The town sits where the Bayou Teche meets Bayou Fuselier, and the homes reflect that mix of old Acadian heritage and a growing artistic community. Many of the houses we work on here are smaller in footprint and older in age, which means the work demands more care than a builder-grade flip or a developer subdivision. We approach Arnaudville projects with that in mind. The town has earned its reputation as one of the more soulful corners of Acadiana, and the homes deserve attention to detail.
From the showroom in Breaux Bridge, Arnaudville is about a 20 minute drive north. The drive itself takes you through countryside that has not changed much in fifty years, which is part of the appeal.

Learn moreThe older Arnaudville homes around the historic core often have original details worth preserving. Antique trim, original millwork, wide-plank pine that has more soul than money can buy in 2025. We see a lot of demand for hardwood that complements existing woodwork rather than competing with it. For kitchen and bath remodels in older homes, mosaic tile and natural stone let owners add new character without making the space feel like a quick flip.
We also handle work on the newer homes in subdivisions around town where standard product mixes hold up well. But the projects that keep us coming back are the older houses. Arnaudville has a steady stream of artists, restorers, and people who appreciate craftsmanship, and they tend to know the difference between a clean install and a sloppy one. That holds us to a higher standard, which we appreciate.
We strongly recommend a showroom visit for any older home project so we can see photos of the existing space, talk through options, and avoid material choices that will fight the home rather than complement it. Once we agree on the materials and measure the space, scheduling depends on availability. Most Arnaudville projects run three to five weeks from order to install, longer if there is coordination needed with other trades.
Smaller homes can be deceiving. The room count may be lower, but the careful work involved in older construction often takes more time per square foot. We plan accordingly rather than rushing through to the next job.
Bring photos of your home. We will help you find materials that fit the character rather than fight it.
